Rear Admiral Albert Jethro Chegwidden, JAGC, USN (Ret.), is a fictional character played by John M. Jackson who is a main character on the TV series JAG for 8 seasons from 1996 to 2004, as well as making guest appearances on the spinoff series' NCIS season 10 finale, "Damned If You Do" in 2013, and as a recurring character on NCIS: Los Angeles since 2017.

An episode of the final season, "JAG: San Diego" had the main cast, excluding Harm, going to the San Diego naval base and working with the local JAG office there. Though it was reportedly considered as a pilot episode, as a reformat of the show aiming for a younger audience, CBS ultimately decided not to pursue a new series.
